A loan of $1,200 helped to increase the amount of clothes exhibited in their store during Eid al Fitr.

Hameeda's story

Hameeda is the mother of six daughters. She and her husband, Raed, own a kids’ clothing store in Rafah city in Gaza Strip. She and her husband share working in the store where they sell girls’ and boys’ clothes. The store is located in the heart of the city center and is the only source of living for the family. As the feast (Eid al Fitr) is around the corner, Hameeda and Raed want to increase the amount of clothes exhibited in their store. Accordingly, Hameeda took a $1,200 loan from FATEN in order to purchase the needed amount of clothes. In the photo, Hameeda's husband appears in the store as she doesn't wish to have her picture online.
