A loan of $475 helped purchase ingredients for preparing her dishes.

Patrocinia's story

Patrocinia is 43 years old and lives with her partner and their four children. She has her own home made of wood in the town of Quimbiri, which is located in the beautiful tropical jungles of Peru. Patrocinia is someone who has great drive and optimism because the phrase “I can’t” is not in her vocabulary. At first she did not have much confidence selling her food to the general public and then she had difficulty finding a strategic location where she could offer her local traditional dishes. With great perseverance, she was able to secure a place where she now works peacefully. Patrocinia was able to position her business within the first six months and is very happy because it is doing well at the moment and generating good revenues. Sometime later she would like to have her own shop so that she is not in the middle of all the traffic flow. She generally sells her products as a street vendor in one of the central neighborhoods. Patrocinia works by herself and has a daily routine that starts at 6am and ends at 9pm.

This is her first loan from MFP. Patrocinia promises to complete her payments in a timely manner. In addition, she thanks MFP for providing her with unconditional support since it will allow her to improve her food business. The loan she is requesting will be used to buy meat, vegetables, oil, and other ingredients so that she can prepare her delicious dishes and satisfy the needs of her customers.
