Ushirika Mazizini Group's story

Cleopa M., who is in his late twenties, is married with six children. He has been a butcher for the past two years. He works from 6am to 8pm and he has been able to earn a good monthly profit.

This will be Cleopa’s 2nd loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loan to buy more kilos of meat and he has successfully paid back the loan. He will use this loan to increase on his meat stock. Cleopa currently uses a knife to cut up his meat. His dream is to open a first class butchery shop with a special meat cutter.

Cleopa will share this loan with his loan group, Ushirika Mazizini, which totals 17 members. The members of the group hold each other accountable in paying back the loan.
