Luz Amparo's story

Luz is a Mom, she is 44 years old and she lives together with her family in the district of Pacasmayo, a fishing district belonging to the province of the same name and located in the region of La Libertad. It is located approximately two hours from the city of Chiclayo, the capital region of Lambayeque.

She sells grocery store items from a store fashioned from a section in her house. She started out selling her products from a stand in a small market in the city but she later decided to relocate to her house. She invests her herself in this business to be able to help her husband support the family.

Her business sees great support from her clients because Luz always provides them with top quality products and good client service. She is planning on expanding her business by increasing the variety of her products. To this end she has requested a loan from Edpyme Alternative (Kiva Field Partner). The loan of 1500 nuevos soles will help her reach her goal.

Luis is a hardworking woman who is very devoted to her family. Her greatest dream is to see her family enjoy a good quality of life and to see them have a stable future. The people that know her consider her to be an honest and trustworthy person.
