Daniela's story

Daniela has been a member of the Communal Bank “Virgen del Rosario” for ten years. This Communal Bank is located in the District and Province of Yunguyo, Department of Puno. She is 52 years old, married, and has six children, three of whom are still in her care. Daniela did not complete elementary school.

Daniela sells condiments such as aji peppers, oregano, and other spices that she brings from the Department of Tacna. She then sells her products in bulk in the District of Desaguadero every Thursday. With the first loan she requested from Manuela Ramos, which was in the amount of 300 PEN, she was able to increase her capital.

The loan she is currently requesting is in the amount of 3000 PEN, which will be used to buy aji peppers and oregano. Her vision is to increase her capital even more so that she can have a complete spice shop. What she enjoys most about her Communal Bank are the savings and the seminars.
