A loan of $750 helped to buy a hotdog cart.

Sandra Gricelda Julisa's story

Sandra, 20, is single and lives with her parents. She is in the last year of Elementary School Teacher Training. Her parents support her efforts.

For the last three years she has sold “tacos al pastor” in the evening every day after school in Tecpan’s market; her brother helps with sales. [Tacos al pastor, made the traditional way on a spit (like gyros), typically involves a layering of thin-sliced pork leg with red chile marinade (and, occasionally, sliced onion) topped with a whole, peeled pineapple].

Sandra’s dream is to be a successful businesswoman like her parents who are merchants. For that reason she is asking FAPE for a loan to buy another sales cart to sell hotdogs because she’s done well and feels the need to add another tool.

Sandra thanks God and FAPE for the support they’ve given her through the loan.
