A loan helped a member to buy more carrots, tomatoes and cabbages to sell in her community.

Ishema Cb Group's story

Marie Chantal is the 34-year-old leader of the group Ishema Cb, which in English means “joyful people.” She is a mother of two children who are five and eleven years old. Her husband is a taxi driver, and for the past ten years she has sold vegetables.

Marie Chantal’s group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses. She will use her portion of this group loan to buy more carrots, tomatoes and cabbages to sell in her community and so meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide school fees for her children and medical insurance for the family. She is thankful for your support.
