A loan helped a member to buy more maize and beans to sell in her community.

Intwari Cb Group's story

Claudette is the 34-year-old leader of the group Intwari Cb, which in English means “heroes.” She is a mother of four children who are aged between seven and fifteen years. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past four years she has sold food such as maize and beans.

Claudette’s group of 29 members sells different items and own a variety of businesses. She will use her portion of this group loan to buy more maize and beans to sell in her community and so meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide for her family and school fees for her children. She is thankful for your support.
