Laurentina Naife's story

Laurentina Naife was born in the Inhambane Province, South of Mozambique. She is married and the mother of one son who goes to college (education). She finished 7th grade but didn't finish school due to the lack of conditions. She lives in her own house and doesn't support anyone. She left her hometown to go to Namaacha when her father was transferred there for work. She has her own business selling meals at the border with Swaziland. She has two employees who help her in her business and at home. She has an income of between 6,000 and 8,000 per month, which does towards household expenses. She manages to save some money in her savings account. She has never had loans with other banks. This is her third loan with Hluvuku and second with Kiva in the amount of 8,500. She intends to buy products (sodas and beer) to accompany her customers' meals. The two previous ones were for 6,000 and 10,000 meticais were used for the same activity. She is confident that she will pay the loan back ahead of time and request a new loan to furnish her house.
