Diokere Endam Group's story

The solidarity group Diokere Endame was created on December 5, 2007. It is made up of 15 women who are all from the same village. The group members know each other through friendship and neighborly ties. The group is part of the SIWAL Banc Villageois.

Mrs. Adama B., standing on the right in the photo, wrapped in a white scarf, is the group's leader. She is 57 years old. She is married and has four children. She is also taking care of four other children who were placed in her care by relatives.

She fattens cattle and sheep. She buys one steer and some sheep with her co-wife and they give them to their husband who fattens them for at least 5 months before selling them at weekly markets.

With her new loan, she will buy a steer and some sheep.

Her goal is to take care of her family's needs, for example, food and health.
