Lluvia De Luz Group's story

This group is called “Lluvia de Luz” (Raining Light), because the community is known for constant rains during a major part of the year. It's located in Puebla and is composed of 11 members.

Juana is treasurer of the group. She is 43 years old and studied until the 3rd year of primary. Juana is married and has a total of 6 children, 1 female and 5 males. Juana buys and sells cattle, a business she started 5 years ago. She is requesting a loan to buy pasture and fodder, for the purpose of keeping her animals in good condition. Juana's customers consider her a very hard-working and responsible person, and she is recognized in her locality as having the best cared for cattle due to the great experience she has in raising cattle.

Juana feels content and gratified with the service and treatment that this institution provides, in view of the fact that it is difficult to obtain credit in this economic sector. With her earnings, Juana intends to construct a better stable and thus, to be able to acquire more cattle. By making her business grow, she can expand her sons' bedroom so that they can be more comfortable.
