A loan of $2,200 helped a member buying seasonal clothing such as t-shirts, shorts, pants, skirts and shoes on a wholesale basis.

Kuña Aty Unidas Group's story

This committee was formed in the Constitución neighborhood of the city of Caaguazú. It consists of 18 women who work on an independent basis each day. Each of them has the desire to make progress and obtain a loan, and thanks to the Paraguaya Foundation, this is possible.

These women possess a great entrepreneurial spirit, and they work as a team, providing mutual help. They are a solidarity group in which responsibility is shared and commitments are taken on by all.

Lucia Mabel is one of the members, and her work is selling clothing. She has a good clientele that is already established, and she would like to increase her income by purchasing new clothing and new designs, taking into account the approach of the [Southern Hemisphere] spring-summer season. She will buy the clothing wholesale and sell it on a retail basis.

She is requesting the loan to buy t-shirts, dresses, shoes and other items.
