Ghislaine's story

ZANNOU Ghislaine was born in 1979 in Cotonou, the economic capital of Benin.  She has been living with her family in the Gankpodo district in Cotonou for about twenty years.  She is married to ATINDOKPO Guy and is the mother of two children, who are all in school.  Along with her husband, Ghislaine ensures that the different family expenses are covered, thanks to the revenues from her business.

Ghislaine dropped out in secondary school.  For about seventeen years, she has been selling hair extensions wholesale. Secondarily, she sells trays of fresh eggs by the distribution system.  This business generates the revenues enabling her without a problem to provide for her family.  She gets her supplies at Dantokpa, the international market of Benin, and also from Nigeria.

She is a previous ALIDé client having had six loans in the past that have all been repaid.  Facing the growing demands from her customer base, Ghislaine is requesting another loan with the goal of increasing her business volume and satisfying her customers more.
