A loan of $725 helped to buy stock items for her stores.

Victoria's story

Victoria, 49, is married and has 6 children under her care. They live in Quimbiri located in the beautiful Cusco backcountry where they have their own wooden home.

Back when she set up her store she didn’t think she’d be very successful because there was a lot of competition in the area. However, that didn’t discourage her. On the contrary, it motivated her to improve. This is how she stocked up on basic items for the home and managed to capture more customers. Today, her store is well positioned and she’s always striving to improve still more aiming at improving sales. Regardless, she feels happy with her work. In the future, however, she plans to expand the store in order to increase income and obtain family stability.

This is her 2nd loan with MFP and she pledges to repay in a timely fashion. She plans to use the funds to buy stock items for the store so that her customers won’t have any inconveniences.

Her communal bank is noted for having a cordial atmosphere among all the members.
