A loan of $550 helped to purchase wine-making supplies.

Benigno's story

Benigno, 31, is single and lives in the Mochumí district, an agricultural district belonging to the province of Lambayeque and which is located forty minutes from the city of Chiclayo.

For the past two years he has worked at wine-making. He prepares the wine in his home and then offers it for sale to his neighbors and acquaintances. Additionally he works as a school teacher in the area where he lives. With the income he receives from these two activities he covers his personal expenses and supports his family.

Benigno would like to expand his business by producing more wine in order to increase his sales. To this end he believes it appropriate to buy various supplies with which to be able to continue preparing this beverage. To achieve his goal he finds it necessary for the first time to seek a loan from Edpyme Alternativa of 1500 new soles.

Benigno is a responsible and enterprising person. He enjoys his business activities very much and always gives his best in his daily work. He is well-known in the area where he lives and is held in esteem by his neighbors and friends.
