Karen Johana
Karen is 18 years old. Because she lacked opportunities, she started to sell clothing once she left school to pay for her expenses. She lives in the Orquídeas neighborhood of Guayaquil (an urban area, named "orchids" because in this area one can find many orchid flowers.)

She carries out her work alone from the early morning hours to help with the family expenses. She sells blouses, shirts and pants to her friends and acquaintances. She works from 8am until 8pm.

She wants a loan to buy clothing and in this way secure her payments for the university. In the future she wants to have her own clothing store.
