Aracely Del Carmen

Nicaragua
Managua, Nicaragua / Construction Supplies

A loan of $575 helped make structural improvements to her business and living conditions by building a wall at the back of her shop.

Aracely Del Carmen's story

Aracely is a small shopkeeper who set up her convenience store 11 years ago. Thanks to her work ethic and financing, she has managed to increase her stock. This has not been easy and there are days when Aracely sells little, but the variety in her stock helps business. Aracely has had the support of her husband since setting up her shop and together they have improved their standard of living. Their living situation has also been improved by the financial assistance provided by Afodenic, as Aracely has received 11 loans which have helped her increase her sales and improve her standard of living. This loan will permit Aracely to build a wall at the back of the shop and to purchase stone, sand, cement, iron, metal framework, and begin construction. All this will benefit the shop and Aracely’s family.
