A loan of $1,000 helped buy rice, vegetables and meat.

Jessica Elizabeth's story

Jessica is 24 years old. She has a little restaurant where she makes typical foods such as goat stew, chicken stew, and beef stew. She is a single mother with two children. They live on the outskirts of the city along the Perimetral.

She began by making fish and onion stew, a typical dish, and sold it on the weekends with the help of her mother. Little by little she invested money to buy a kitchen stove. From this good decision, she now has a little restaurant where she serves meals. She works every day from 4 pm to 10 pm.

With the loan, she wants to buy provisions such as rice and vegetables for her little restaurant. In the future she wants to have a bigger place and to have her restaurant be well known.
