A loan of $375 helped to buy ingredients for her dishes.

Daria's story

Daria, aged 55, is divorced and has a daughter. They live together in the village of Quimbiri, located in the beautiful rainforest in Peru, where she has her own wooden house. Daria can be described as a demanding person with a strong character.

Daria's food business is presently well known in her village due to the favorable opinion voiced by her guests, and this is what keeps her happy in her activity. She used the fruits of her successful business to open a small clothes store, which is run by her daughter. Usually Daria works with her assistant who helps her and serves her traditional dishes to her guests.

For the future she plans to expand her business and offer new merchandise with new designs and trends. This is her second loan with Microfinanzas Prisma. She commits herself to repaying it according to the loan terms. She is also happy with her community bank, because she has many economic benefits from it. She will use her new loan to prepare her traditional dishes with the aim of satisfying her guests, and the rest will be reinvested in her clothes store.
