A loan helped a member to buy pots, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Neema Kwetu Group's story

Mrs. Colette is a client of Hekima MFI and president of the village group "NEEMA KWETU". She is a widow, 35 years old and mother of 4 children who are all in school.

She sells various products. She started this business 10 years ago with start-up funds received from her late husband. Later, she involved the Hekima program to support her business, during which she gradually evolved. With this new loan, she is going to buy pots, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is related to the lack of customers.

She would like her children to continue studying and she would also like to provide for her family.

Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support provided to owners of non-bankable businesses in this context of the global covid-19 crisis. The photo only shows the leader of the group due to Covid-19, in compliance with social distancing measures.

In this group: Noella, Colette, Augustin, Kalongo, Bazinga, Solange, Furaha, Esperance, Bonne Annee, Mawazo, Sarah
