A loan helped a member to buy recycled materials to resell, and to buy ingredients for food.

8 De Diciembre Group's story

The 8 de Diciembre group is made up of 17 women. They are in the fifth cycle of the committee of women program. They all work hard and strive for a better quality of life for their families.

One of the members is Lucina who works in recycling. She collects recyclable products and also buys them to resell. She mentions that she has moved her three children forward on her own. She also sells food, through orders, from her house. This helps with the household income.

Lucina is a hardworking person who seeks a way to offer her children a better quality of life than she had, so that they experience no need. She seeks this loan to buy recycled materials to resell, and to buy ingredients to make her food.
