01_Daan Dole Group's story

This group, in existence since September 2021, unites these five women who live in the same community. They are related and united by the spirit of community and solidarity. Their main work is in livestock farming or commerce. This is their first loan from the institution.

Ms. Bineta, the representative, is 61 years old and appears at the right in the photo with her hand raised. She is the married mother of six children, including three sons; all of them are or have been in school.

Ms. Bineta runs a business fattening sheep and selling poultry. She purchases sheep and chickens at the weekly market and raises them at her home. She has several years of good experience in this sector.

With her loan, she is going to purchase 4 sheep and sacks of fodder, as well as about a dozen chickens she will raise and then resell every four months. Her business is doing well and she starts a new cycle regularly.

Her earnings will enable her to save money, support herself, and buy a plot of residential land.
