Evaline has a mixed farm in the town of Litein in the Rift Valley of Kenya. She has been farming for the last 4 years. Her farm produces milk and pineapples which she sells to the local market. She is a full-time farmer and depends on the income from her farming to provide for her family's needs.

Evaline recently completed repaying her previous loan of 45,000 KES from Juhudi Kilimo and has requested this loan of 65,000 KES to purchase a dairy cow. She says that this loan will improve her family's standard of living since the milk will be used for domestic consumption and the surplus sold. The income will be used to expand the business. Evaline's major challenge has been insufficient dairy feed. She hopes to buy a piece of land in the future so that she can expand her dairy farming.

Evaline is 34 years old. She is married and has been blessed with 2 children, ages 9 and 13. Both children attend school.
