A loan helped to change some of the old furniture of her home and to buy a new bed for her ill husband as he stays in bed all the time.

Sose's story

Sose is a 60-year-old woman from a vulnerable community. She is married and lives in a small village located in southeastern Albania with her husband and her son's family. Her son is married and has a daughter.

Sose's husband is ill and she is taking care of him. Also, Sose looks after her granddaughter, as her daughter-in-law works, meanwhile her son is an immigrant. The family lives in an old house, and Sose wants to change some of the furniture as they are old and out of function.

In order to facilitate her home project, she is asking for the first time for Kiva lenders' support, to buy a new washing machine and a fridge. She also wants to buy a new and comfortable bed for her ill husband, as he stays in bed all the time.

Sose thanks all Kiva lenders for this opportunity and wishes all the best to you and your families.

This loan is special because:

It helps heavily marginalized Roma and Egyptian women create better lives for their families.
