San Roque Group's story

This committee, called San Roque, is from the city of Paraguarí. They are in their 31st loan cycle in the women's committee program, where they are close-knit and all help each other. They seek the way to get ahead and be able to offer better living conditions to their families. They are also in the poverty elimination program.

One of those who make up this committee is Juliana. She and her spouse get their 4 children ahead, for whom she struggles to be able to give them a better quality of life and that they do not experience hardships.

Juliana works in sales. She has a modest store in which she works every day from early in the morning since she has customers starting early in the morning. She wants to continue improving and, for this, she decided to join the group to be able to achieve her goals and continue helping her family.

She asks for this loan to purchase products to stock her store, such as beverages, baked goods, fruit, vegetables, and other products to sell.

Note: There is only one person in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
