Isheja Tcb Group's story

Angelique is a 33-year-old single mother of three children, who are between the ages of 7 and 13. For the past 11 years, she has been selling vegetables.

Angelique is the leader of the group named Isheja Tcb, which in English means “people with the same goal.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Angelique will use her loan to buy more cabbages to sell within her community and meet her customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide for her family. Angelique is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the members, but was able to photograph one representative of the group.
