A loan helped to buy soil amendments and fertilizer, and for renting a plow.

Marelinne Yolanda's story

Marelinne is an 18-year-old young woman. She lives with her mother in a modest brick home. Her mother is single and doesn't earn enough to cover all her education expenses, so Marelinne took the initiative to work in agriculture as a way to earn some income for her household.

This is the first loan she's requesting. She's going to invest in planting corn, for which she needs to pay for the plow, soil amendments, and fertilizer.

Marelinne hopes to be able to pay for her studies this way.
