Mrs. Khen S., 43 years old, is the village bank president having been selected by its fifteen members who are located in Boeng KrU. Leu village, Kandal province. With their loan, each member of this village bank hopes to increase his or her income to improve their family living.

Mrs. Khen S. is a pig breeder and her husband, Mr. Ros U., is a motorbike taxi driver. With these businesses they provide a small income to support their family. In order to support her pig breeding business, Mrs. Khen S. will use the loan to build more pigpens for raising pigs.

This couple has three children: two are seamstresses in the garment factory while the other is attending the local public school.
