Fourteen people live in Khnach Tboung village in Takeo province and they make up a village bank loan. All the members in this village bank loan will use their portion of the loan for different purposes. They have been selected Mrs. Sinat S., who was born in 1970, is a village bank president. Mrs. Sinat S. is a weaver at her home where she can earn some money to support her family. Since her business is going well, she wants to expand. So to improve her current business, Mrs. Sinat S. is applying for a loan to buy more silk. She is a widow with six children, two of whom are seamstresses in a garment factory, while the other three are studying in school. The youngest child is only six years old.
