'Ana's story

This mother's name is 'Ana. She is 46 years old, and she has five teenagers; they are all in high school. Her husband is a farmer, and he provide crops for their daily meals.

'Ana's businesses are the primary source of income for her family. She owns and operate a weaving, tapa making and kiekie business, in which a group of women weaves for her. She joined a group of women in the village, and once in a week they gather into a hall and make lots of tapas and divide it among them. She has the rest of the weekdays for making her kiekie.

Even though she runs several businesses, 'Ana divides her time wisely among them. She also does weaving, but she mainly hires a group of women to weave for her, in order to have a speedy production.
