A loan helped to invest in the purchase of shoe adhesive, rubber soles, imitation leather, studs, etc.

Alexander's story

Alexander, age 48, is a micro-entrepreneur living in the city of Barranquilla with his family. For ten years, he has had a business selling shoes. His clients have been neighbors in the area and people from the sector. He sells 100% for cash, wholesale and retail.

This commercial activity is his only source of income, and permits him to contribute to providing for his household. But due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, his level of work declined due to questions of bio-security, and his income dropped drastically.

For this reason, he requests his first Kiva loan from the Fundación Santo Domingo in order to invest in the purchase of shoe adhesive, rubber soles, imitation leather, studs, etc. Please support him with his loan for his business.
