Felecia's story

Felecia is 47 years old, from Liberia. She is a single mother with 5 children, who are all in school. Felecia attended school up to 9th grade.

Felecia is a hardworking businesswoman, who sells dried goods and water. She learned how to sell from her mother, and she started the business with her own savings. She sells Monday to Saturday, 10 hours per day, and faces no problem with her sales. She uses a car to transport supplies to her business site. Felecia likes her business because it helps to s support her family.

Felecia requested a loan through Kiva's Field Partner BRAC Liberia. The loan will be used to buy more dried goods and water to sell.

Felecia's dreams for the future are to open a shop and educate her children.
