A loan of $700 helped buy cement, boards, grillwork and sand for home repairs.

Francoise's story

Françoise N. is a 49-year-old woman born in Gasabo, a province of Kigali, capital of Rwanda. She is married and has four children whose ages range between 12 and 20 years old. All attend school.

Françoise and her family live in Kinyinya (in Gasabo, Kigali). She pursued secondary level studies in biochemistry. She works at a Pentecostal Church (ADEPR), in the parish of Gasave, where she is an evangelist.

This is her second loan with ACB. The first loan helped to improve her family’s living conditions, whereas this new loan will be used for home renovations. Her savings allow her to pay the rent where she lives with her family until they can move into their house, which she wants to repair.

In the future, she intends to seek another loan for her children’s tuition.
