The banc villageois was created in December 2011 by the dynamism and bravery of the women united in this effort. They work in retail sales.

Madame Sokhna, who is alone in the photo due to COVID-19 restrictions, is the group representative. She is 49, married, and has seven children. She also has six other dependent children. She has a place where she sells vegetables.

With her new loan, she will buy vegetables, vegetable oil, tea, and sugar. This income will help her with the daily expenses and to take care of her needs.
