A loan helped a member to buy a variety of cosmetics and lotions.

El Progreso Group's story

Iris Magdalena, age 35, lives with her two children, ages 17 and 14 years, who are her dependents; she is a single mother.

Iris works selling beauty products from catalogs, and during the week, she makes chicken sandwiches to sell. She sells as a street vendor and per orders. This permits her to generate income to help with household responsibilities. But she wishes to have more products available.

Therefore she requests a loan to buy a variety of cosmetics and lotions. With this investment, she hopes to improve her sales and to be able to offer more products to her customers.

She dreams of having a stable and prosperous business, and having a better future.

Iris, Patricia, Gladis, Rosa, Alisson, Silvia, and Blanca form the solidarity group "El Progreso". They are responsible and enterprising people who seek the same goal of getting their families ahead.

In this group: Iris Magdalena , Patricia Carolina, Gladis Leticia, Rosa Linda, Alisson Jasmin, Silvia Maricela , Blanca Celia
