Ana's story

Ana is 47 years old. She lives with her husband and daughters in the city of Barranquilla.

She started her store, motivated to look for other income opportunities for her family. Her husband supports her in this hard work.

She sells rice, oil, sugar, canned goods, lunchmeat, cleaning products, and personal hygiene products, etc. Her main customers are neighbors, friends, family members, referrals, and passers-by in the neighborhood.

Currently, she is applying for a Kiva loan, the first financing that she is making from the Fundación Santo Domingo, to invest in the purchase of rice, oil, sugar, canned goods, lunchmeat, cleaning products, and personal hygiene products, etc.

Ana wishes to increase her inventory to generate a greater income and her goal is to acquire her own premises. Support her with her loan, it will be a success.
