A loan helped to invest in fabric for sewing and to buy a sewing machine.

Fabian Alberto's story

Fabián Alberto, age 35, lives with his family in the city of Barranquilla.

He started his business of making clothing, especially children's clothing, and surgical or medical clothing. He began the business because he learned the skill from his family. He comes from the municipality of Juan de Acosta, where sewing is strong. With this business, he has been earning income and seeking contracts in Barranquilla, where he sells his garments.

Now he is applying for a Kiva loan, his first financing from the Fundación Santo Domingo, to invest in fabric for sewing and to buy a sewing machine. Fabian is hopeful that his business will strengthen and, with it, his working capital, thereby increasing sales.

Please support him - he will succeed in his new business idea.
