A loan helped to buy yogurt in 1, 2, and 5-liters.

Surgey Patricia's story

Surgey Patricia is a 44-year-old microentrepreneur resident of the city of Cartagena. She lives with her family, and has been selling yogurt door-to-door as a business for 5 years, Thanks be to God, little by little the volume of sales increased, and she then began to hire people and create routes to take the yogurt door to door and thus collect payment on a daily basis.

Her business began due to the need to generate income for herself and her family, and she is thankful for the opportunity to offer these products to her neighbors. This commercial activity is her only source of income and it is what allows her to contribute to the support of her household.

But due to the COVID-19 pandemic that occurred worldwide, her work level deteriorated due to biosafety issues and her income decreased drastically. For this reason, she requests her first loan with the Santo Domingo foundation in order to invest in the purchase of 1, 2 and 5-liter yogurts. Support her business loan.
