This Kiva borrower is a 28-year-old married man and father of two young children who attend school. He has been working as a furniture carpenter for the past 25 years and has run his own shop since 1998. He specializes in making wooden furniture designs. He works independently in his business, but collaborates with some galleries in his town and on customer request. Today, he is requesting a loan of $1200 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l. to buy more wood in order to increase his business productivity.
