In his mid 50’s, Patrick M. has been running an agricultural enterprise for over 14 years and is still at his best, proving to fellow agriculturalists in the area that he can make it. Having been motivated by personal traits and inspired by his parents for quite some time, hardworking Patrick had a vision to develop a banana plantation alongside his coffee-sales enterprise and livestock farming. He has been practicing this from Kanyansheko, Ibanda where he earns 320,000 Ugandan shillings on a monthly basis.

However, Patrick's main drawback is harvesting poor quantities, so with this loan he will be able to purchase agricultural inputs such as manure. This will make it possible for him to achieve greater output and earn more revenue to support his family of six children and a wife at home and to further his goal of expanding his business and educating his children, who are still attending school.
