Plamedie Group's story

Mrs. Jeanine is a client of Hekima MFI and president of the village group "PLAMEDIE". She is married, 42 years old and mother of 9 children, 5 of whom are in school and 4 are independent. Her partner is a teacher.

She sells fruits and vegetables. She started this business 11 years ago with the start-up funds received from her husband. Later, she involved the Hekima program to support her business, during which she gradually evolved. With this new loan, she will buy cassava leaves, beans, avocados, oranges, bananas, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is the poor state of the access roads to the farms.

She would like her children to continue studying and to provide for her family.

Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support provided to owners of non-bankable businesses in this context of the global covid-19 crisis. The photo only shows the leader of the group due to Covid-19, in compliance with social distancing measures.

In this group: Jeanine, Judith, Fiston, Balangaliza, Esperence, Innocent, Dercila, Esperance, Jeanne, Concilia, Migabo, Yvette, Berthan, Annonciata, Irene, Sifa
