Suon L., 45, is a widow who lives with two children and her father in Takeo province. Since 2007, she has been selling cakes and is able to make about US$ 1.50 in profit each day. Her children are garment factory workers, making US$ 2 each per day. Suon L. is asking for a loan of US$ 1000 to purchase a motorbike for her children to commute to work.
