Nem S., 63, is a motor-taxi driver in the local market of Kampong Cham province. His wife is a farm worker, growing rice and vegetables. On average, she is able to make less than US$ 1 per day. This couple has one child who is employed as a worker. Nem S. would like to take out a loan of US$ 700 to purchase another motorbike so that his son can operate a motor-taxi as he does.
