A loan helped to buy a smartphone to facilitate her child's online education during COVID-19.

Rima Karolina's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Rima Karolina. She is 38 years old, married, and has one daughter and two sons. Rima Karolina and her husband run a business of selling tofu. One of her children is still in school. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on her family has resulted in her child having to take online classes from home. This has made it difficult for her child to access course materials and send assignments back to the teacher.

Rima Karolina applied for a loan of 2,200,000 IDR from KBMI to buy a smartphone to facilitate her child’s online education during COVID-19. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan she received using the profits from her business.

Rima Karolina is a very hardworking mother who always strives to provide the best for her children, improve their living conditions, and create a happy life. She is very grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank all of the lenders.

Note: The girl in the photo is Rima Karolina’s daughter who is still in school.
