A loan helped to increase working capital and buy glass, aluminum, iron, and other metal products.

Edgar's story

Edgar is a 54-year-old small business owner. He is a resident of the city of Cartagena de Indias, where he lives with his wife and where he also has a business making and selling glass and metal. Edgar started this business more or less 20 years ago after having worked for a long time at a company that made doors and windows. He decided to start this business alone with the idea of being able to generate a higher income and to offer employment. He offers his services daily to people around the sector, neighbors and passersby, with payments on cash and credit. Thanks to this, he is recognized as a responsible and hardworking person who is very good at the provision of services.

He is currently applying for his first Kiva loan with Fundación Santo Domingo to increase his working capital and to buy glass, aluminum, iron, and other metal products to grow his business and satisfy his clients, to be able to increase the number of sales and increase profits. Support him with his loan for his business.
