A loan helped to buy four piglets and their feed.

Naivo's story

Naivo is a 57 year old. He is married and the father of seven children. Six are already independent. He lives in a rural village. The family owns a stone house.

Despite his age, Naivo is very active. He works in agriculture and with livestock. He has over 38 years of experience in pig farming, while his wife sells vegetables at the local market to cover daily living expenses.

Naivo is partnered with Vahatra. Through the partnership he is able to take out beneficial loans. With the profits of his last loan he was able to purchase farmland.

With this new loan, Naivo plans to increase his herd of pigs in order to increase his revenue. He will purchase four piglets and feed for them. He depends on the support of Kiva lenders to finance his project.

Naivo will sell his livestock after having fattened them up to local merchants. He plans to save his profits. Naivo's goal is to one day achieve financial autonomy.
