A loan helped to buy 1 steer and 2 medium-sized pigs to raise.

Onisoa's story

Onisoa is a 32-year-old woman. She is married and has three children. Her family rents a small home in a village on the outskirts of town. She has been raising cows and pigs for the past ten years. Her husband is a cook. The couple helps each other to support the needs and well-being of their household.

She wants to strengthen her business and therefore joined Vahatra to take out loans. She will use it to buy 1 steer and 2 medium-sized pigs to raise. She wants to fatten her livestock and then she will sell them to local butcher.

From her last loan, she acquired some arable land with the money she made. With the next loan, she plans to buy some land to build on. She is counting on lenders' support for this project.
