A loan helped to buy two mid-sized pigs and their feed.

Sylvie's story

Sylvie is a young woman of twenty-four. She is married and the mother of two children. The family lives in a village found on the outskirts of the city in their family home. Sylvie works in pig farming, with over four years of experience. She also owns a small grocery. Her husband works in a private enterprise in the city. They both work hard to cover their family's expenses.

Sylvie is partnered with Vahatra. With her last loan she was able to grow several crops with her profits.

Recently, Sylvie has decided she wants to expand her pig farming business. With this loan, she plans to purchase two medium-sized pigs and their feed in order to add to her herd. After fattening them up she will resell them to the local butcher.

Sylvie plans to save her profits towards her future goal- building her own home. She hopes to have the support of Kiva lenders.
