Torm S., 37, is married and lives with her four children in Kampong Chnang province. She works in a grocery store, making approximately US$ 4 each day, and her husband is a garment worker in Malaysia. Her family is also supported by her husband’s US$ 100 income each month, along with the income of one child who works in garment factory in Korea.
Torm S. is asking for a loan of US$ 800 to expand her grocery inventory. She believes that this purchase will allow her to increase her income and be able to better support her large family.
