Nurzat's story

Nurzat - 38 years old, married, has 5 children. She has a secondary education. Since 2009, the main source of income for her family has been livestock and field farming. Due to her hard work, she currently has 10 cows, 20 sheep, and a 1.06 hectare land share on which she grows beans.

She has an agreement to supply organic milk to a local plant for further processing into dairy products. This allows her to continuously invest in her agricultural business. After learning that at the bank Bai Tushum she could get a loan based on the contract for future volumes, through the product "Value Added Chain" framework, she applied for a loan in the amount of 150,000 som (KGS). She plans to use the loan to purchase dairy cows in order to increase the volume of milk sales.

The payments from the local plant for the milk will be directly transferred to Nurzat's bank account. While the loan payments will be automatically deducted. The income from the loan will help to further develop the farm.
